If some little shit writes jozza on a house, he is a little shit, graffiti artists devote years and large amounts of money perfecting our art form and there are recognisable targets, mainly the large transport corporations - what right does a company like Nexus have to earn billions while writers are deadlocked in poverty with no means of escape or self expression.

Graffiti provides a medium to say fuck the man and is an aggresive expression of raw emotion that is hard to match in any other artistic outlet.

Corporations like Adidas spend billions forcing the public to view images they have no say in viewing; billboards, fly posters, vechile adverts, are plastered in every western city - you the public has no say in whether you see them or not... Graffiti artists prove that there is an alternative to corporate branding.

Whether you like it or not is irrelivent, if you accept advertising into your life then its hypocritical to reject graffiti.
