    I have been considering this for some time! ;)

    Seriously though, there has been loads of rubbish posted here. It reminds me of the "trance in newcastle" thread I posted ages ago...everyone KNEW how to run a night better than the next guy but in actual fact none of them had put anything into practice (successfully, anyways).

    Some harsh but true facts:

    - There are no rules to becoming a DJ, musician, actor, film star...anything.
    - There is a 99% chance you will fail
    - Hassling promotors/agents/anyone will get you nowhere...nobody likes a pest
    - Everyone will tell you what you should be doing...you should listen to none of them (that includes me)

    If you want to play music get some decks and play music. That is my advice. Don't worry about anything else. But what do I know! ;) :p
