I think it's massive devastaion and a lot of lives have been lossed over there, they need all the help they can get, therefore holding charity nights for this cause is a massive help.

We can hold charity nights for other causes too but things like cancer and aids is always going to be there whereas this has just happened and at the minute minute this is a huge problem and they need our help, so i'm well up for this and agree that we give as muich help as we can.

On the other hand, i don't think there are enough charity events being held for other worthy causes ie: Cacner, Aids etc. and am sure there is more that we could do for our own country.

    :)

    ?!?!?!?!?!?

This board amazes me at times, your complaining because people are being charritable?

If a night puts on a charity night for its own gains (and who the fuck are any of you to make that call), I'd say its a far worthier cause than lining the pockets of any night thats keeping the money for themselves.

I can't read the news without scanning some celebirty do gooder donating a small percentage of their wealth to chairty, yet no one pulls them... People regularly donate too chairty for self gain, be it premier league football teams, tobacco firms investing in education, joe bloggs donating £50 so he can sleep better at night knowing he did his bit (while he sleeps on his £65,000 life savings).

This thread is shady as fuck... a charitable cause is always more worthy than a business cause.
