i aint been in flying for a while but always found it a bit dodgy, depending on which staff were in, they used to take the piss wen i asked for trance, but now i hear theyve started selling it??!!

dunno how true that is like, aint been in 4 ages.

john and dave are sound as fuck in global tho, always funny on a saturday if theyve been out the nite before :spangled: :D

Been in a couple of times....

 Bought a couple of tunes, felt like my presence wasnt wanted, ask em if they've got this n that, they just say no, they never seem interested, or offer to look it up or find out if they can get it in for ya. When u try n peer over the counter to see what new tunes they got up on the wall they stand in your way & stare at ya.

Sure they're nice guys but, it feels like "a local shop, for local people" sumtimes.

Im not a charva or nuffin honest, & i dont look like a shop lifter either.

Id rather spend more money for tunes in a record shop than go to HMV. Just buy what i want off the net now, get the latest tunes, nice n early for just a little more cost, and i dont feel unwanted whilst im browsing.

Global DJ is alright when they got new tunes in, Daves normally @ promise. Big black dude is well scary tho:cry: think he must have transferred over from flyin records.

i havn't been to flying records for a long time..but they used to get some amazing trance promos in!

like jon said, ive got a few vandit promos, and got early promos of tunes like delerium and tenth planet from there, which isn't bad for a house music shop!

Global DJ - Just cos you sell decks doesn't give you the right to own a superstar DJ's ego or attitude ..

Went in their last year had to wait around an hour to test a kaos pad. Apperently sticking two wires in the back of mixer is complicated stuff and takes a while. Worse of all tho the whole shop jumped on another customer mid demonstration. Ammitedly she was pretty fit but still does it really take three assistants to tend to her needs? Won't be going back there for a while.

ahhh that feels so much better :)

I reckon they are alright in Global.

Went in the other week and one of the dudes was scratching over trance! It sounded wicked!
