Should you FA cap players wages?

times change.

you think 'kicking a ball around' is all players do ? they train god knows how many times, spend time away from their familys, are constantly in the public eye.

you have to remember, a football carear is quite short 15/20yrs max unless they go into managment/coaching.

i don't give give a toss about football BUT :

u can't cap players wages - no one will come to the UK football leagues. it's the TEAMS paying cause they have the money to do so!

Wanna make a stand? STOP buying sky sports, stop going to premiership matches - go support your local teams!! If they don't have the money, they won't be offering the top whack for imports

Maybe times do change but I think there still over paid

Compare them to soldiers in the army there away from there families for long periods, train even harder but they don’t get a fraction of what football players do

So who deserves it more?


There is no right or wrong argument here

the simple fact is footballers are in the entertainment industry, therefore they recieve more money than average joe because they are in the spotlight.

should we cap actors, models, musicians etc wages because most of them are useless twunts with about as much talent as smegma? its the same argument.
