    for certain.

i'm still rather speechless about the whole thing.

i am also scheduled to be getting the train to kings cross on monday morning and as long as the trains are running i have every intention of going. to alter plans is simply giving in to them.

No matter what wrongs and attrocities our government and military have committed, the ordinary, hard working people of this country and others like it don't deserve what happened today.

Just spoke to my sister there

She was 10 minutes late this morning. Went to go for the Tube at Aldgate but they wouldnt let her in , dozens of people coming out covered in soot , clothes ripped and noone had any clue what was going on...absolute carnage.

The tube is every 10 minutes from her place

If she had been on time she would have been on THAT train that got done over

I knew being a skiver would pay off one day for her :king:

whatever mate, it is not really the time or place for political opinions on what is right or wrong, and what is deserved or not deserved.

you try and tell someone who has been affected by today that they deserved it.

there is quite a clear and definitive line between blowing up bombs on a public transport systems at rush hour and what is going on in iraq.

exactly, soldiers don't set out with the intention of harming innocent civilians, and the ones who accidently do, often never recover from the trauma.

terrorists take pleasure from the death of innocent civilains, for me the difference is crystal clear.

wake up you fucking bell end, they costantly attack civilians and not military targets. we dont attack civilians purposly it happens by accident, caught in the crossfire as they say. you are just a compete fucking wanker. you constanly come across as a liberal puff.

i do understand cause and effect, but killing civilians is no way to get back at a country that you view as being imperialistic.

    you fucking smack rat

    they are quite clearly different.

the intent of the act which causes death is the gauge we use to determine the difference between manslaughter and murder.

please tell me you can tell the difference between pre meditated murder and accidental death resulting in manslaughter?

yes i agree but i was saying one does nto deserve it more or less than the other. I'm not saying they are both the result of cold blooded murder like the people today, im in agreement with you here

But would these attacks have happened today if the 'War On Iraq' hadnt gone ahead with British support?

    We didn't deserve it.

I'm as left wing as they come but I can't comprehend how you can say 30+ civilians deserved to die?!?!?!?!

The war in Iraq is injust:

Thousnads of civilians have been killed
Coalition troops have abused and tortured Iraqi's
The west have acted immoral as fuck
We've invaded a nation for ecomic reasons

But that doesnt justify what has happened in London!

It was expected - but not deserved.

im in no way whatsoever condoning what happened today, but more innocents were killed during our "war" with iraq than were killed today by the extremist group. in both cases, (the war and today) death of civilians was not a goal of anyone but an inevitable occurance, i believe the attcks today were intended to damage the infrastructure of london and to damage the economy, if widespread death was the goal of the terrorists they could have attacked earlier or at busier places
