    Harper,

We have been through this all before any moron can look through a bad period for any club & pick out poor attendances, the only real indicator for the how well a team is supported is the average crowd attendance overall record which Newcastle come in 7th with a whopping average of 30,400 & Sunderland come in 11th with a nice 24,460.

I think many of scheme's Sunderland for getting the fans into the ground are great but lets not kid anyone if there was 40,000 people willing to pay £450+ for season ticket them schooooooooooool kids & dole wallas would not be in the ground. Again this is my own thoughts but I think Sunderland could learn something from the red & white's of Olympiakos. They used to fill there 70,000 capacity for Champions League games & big local derby games but the tickets were next to nothing to get into the stadium but it was full, they now play in new compact 35,000 capacity stadium & tickets are very hard to get for all games & they make a stack of cash per game now.

Remember Stephen anyone can sell tenner's for nine quid.
