Think its unfair to put carr in the same boat... carr played no part in the murders.

she didnt put she stillwent ahead and covered up the murders after they'd happened...which meant the parents had to go through even further hell: her fault.

Myra cleaned up the blood after ian's murders....there's not a lot of difference i dont think

Maxine Carr was in denial, she appears to of been in an abusive relationship where she was dependant on Ian Huntley...

Myra Hindley took part in the horrendous murdering of children....

How the hell can you put them in the same category.

    Myra Hindley was evil

she was evil as a result of her destructive relationship and nature.
Im not saying she isnt guilty, im just saying that it was primarily the fault of Brady and her weak personlity, not a 'killer instinct'

Its ironic that people have a "heart" when it comes to talking about stuff like self harming (which there was a thread about on here a while back and everyone was being all "understanding") but when it comes to other psychological issues - theres alot of hippocracy....

And before anyone says it, im criticising neither example - its just pointing out how people seem to be able to understand emotional and mental problems one day, but the next day and given a different set of circumstances - its all different?

She'd probably be alot safer in jail than being back out, I'm not saying this is right although its probably the truth.

Think your mixing up your cases - it was huntley who tried to decieve the courts with insanity...

Maxine Carr had no need to - hse played no part in the murders.

she didnt murder but she knew about him murdering them! I know she didnt decieve the courts saying she was insane but Im saying if I was up for murder I would do the same- not that I would murder thou (that sounded bad) :D

I see whyshe lied cause the thought of gettign away with it for them both and with her obbsession with Huntley. If it was my BoyF I would more than likely lie to keep him out of prison but then I thnk he murdered someone so why would I ever want to be with him! I would then have to tell someone what he done!

She didnt thou and what type of person is that?

She is obviously insecure and some people would do anything for their partners, I havent read the transcripts but I think I get the jist of the case, she dosen't deserve to be locked up as SHE has served fair time for what SHE did.
Huntley however should be tortured for his actions.

True she has served her time, and I think where ever she is taken with what ever identity she will still recieve a rough time from herself after everything she has gone through. Being in prison couldnt be nice for her...obviously! But she got what she deserved! Its siock what Huntely done and sick of her for knowing what he had done and watching the family of the two girls and tehy saying nothing!

Still dont understand how her sick mind could work thou! No matter how much love she had for him I still dont see how she could do it...but we all work in different ways! Thats life!

Yeah, everyone is different and love can be overpowering at times, I'm sure she regrets everything she has done. She has to live with it for the rest of her life...

yeah thats what I meant no matter how much they try to cover who she is/ or maybe was. She has to live with it herself and it will never go away! Im sure she has had enough pain to hopefully realise what she done was wrong.
