why do people post random slaggings off on here???i could understand people saying negative things about people in a discussion if you know what i mean.but why just post a new topic just to slag someone off????i could even understand if they had been on at promise the night before and had been crap, but i dont get it why some poeple just wake uop and think how they gona hate somone so bad 2day?!?!

i must admit i aint a fan of jules, and think he always kills crasher(thank god he aint on at promisemuch ), but he is a class dj(plays all types of toons in one set), and does have his good days-judgement sunday @ tall trees(i think), and red and black night!!!!

and i would say with tuns of people my age he did play a massive role into getting us into it all

im gunna stick up for the man too cos lets face it...wot really has he done wrong? as far as i can see nothing....he is one of the most successfull dj's around and has achieved a hell of alot and it seems he only get slagged off because of his success.

he was one of the dj's who got me into it all, and back when he played alot of trance i thought he was the bee's knee's. Im not so keen on his style now but i dont suddenly think he has turned shite...just my tastes have changed.

granted he plays some dodgy tunes and duff sets but name a dj that doesnt?

some of his sets are the most memorable ive ever heard too...and to be honest he kick the shite outta scott bond and matt hardwick by playin exactly wot type of classics we all wanted to hear at red and black

i know given a choice between avin to listen to a radio 1 dj it would deffo by julesy

yey!! thank you dave n dave for sticking up 4 julsey fair enough i know he can be a bit arrogant sometimes but at the end of the day hes capable of playing some absolutley quality sets and hes class at connecting with the crowd and gettin every1 goin. i suppose everyones entitled 2 their opinions but he really isnt as bad as some people make him out 2 b.bless him. i know im probably gonna recieve some abuse for suggesting this but does anyone know if we're ever gonna get him at promise.....????!!!!!

He's booked to play a set this year (much to my dissapointment - start whinging now but despite all this lovey dovey bullshit I still don't like his music or his attitude )... I couldn't tell you when though.

lol my strongest memory is just a row of people sat on that bar complaining... you had sore head, I had paranoia, someone else was tired, paul was bored, ******** was recoverig from abulance, marissa was going awwwwwww and big dave was grinning ear to ear.

Thought I might chip in with a few comments. I've met Jules a few times, due to him being a friend of a friend. I have to say that the bloke has been very polite and has been really good to us, buys his round, takes us into the clubs with him, for free, makes sure we have a place for us to all have a drink together etc.
He played really good sets a few years ago, but I have to admit that I'm not that keen on some of the stuff he's played recently. My theory is that he doesn't put enough time into preparing his sets, you just have to look at his website and see how busy his schedule is to know that he can't put much time into preparation.

on the subject of him being a nice bloke....some mates of mine know him very slightly through a friend yet even though he dont really know em, he got them all VIP passes when they were out in ibiza and he often supplies them with champagne at crasher....wot a dick ey?
