i think your all funny as fuck. just because u guys spend all of your time in your bedrooms mixing and 'perfecting' the 'journey' you think you all know what being a dj is all about. not one of you has stopped to think about the fact this dj plays infront of people, not a wall or a couple of mates. 'creating' a mix to listen back to on cd is fuck all like mixing infront of a club full of ppl. when your in a club, do you think the dj gives a fuck if the try-hards are pulling the mix to pieces? no, the only concern on that guys mind is making the people on the dancefloor move and enjoy themselves. thats it. if you lot had any sense you would think of the simpler things before you try and over-kill every last thing with technical bullshit, trying to find ways to pick faults with everything
first two hours is usually shite, then until we close i play what i like. all depends on the crowd, each night is different, the dutch like more dance [dance being a general description - not the shite they call dance on galaxy] than the english at the minute
what i like, not meaning what ever i fancy listening to btw lol just meaning the first couple of hours is gonna be more commercial than the rest of the night... basically until the lightweights go to sleep, then we get on with the better end of the music spectrum
