Just woundering what format do you record in? MP3?and if so what bit rate? 128Kb/s 192Kb/s?

Have you got some sort of radio card in your PC or do you use a line in..?

    -Just curious thats all! :)

As long as you record it clearly, you can get it at 56kbps, which I have done resulting in the whole file being 48mb.

Are you talking about ripping it directly OFF the bbc website when it is streamed..?

Cos if you are this is NO way to go! :(

    56Kb/s is Shite!

128Kb/s from a DAB PCI Radio Card (in my PC) is bad enough!

Surely you use some sort of radio card in your PC to achieve 128 or 192Kb/s..? :)

straight off the bbc site, i chose to do it at 56kps, as it takes up less memory, only 48mb.and its the same quality as a 192 rip

    Less Memory Pah!

You want to go for QUALITY not size!

-So what if a mix is 2hrs long? You can use wave editing software to split it onto 2 CDs! :)

Honestly man in todays modern age of boadband connections of 2Mb/s + -Its the ONLY way to go!

    Go for Quality :angel2: :angel3: :angel2:

I get exactly the same quality @ 56 than I would at 192, so whats the point in wasting space?

Sorry to put a downer on your thoughts m8 but when you have a recording at a LOWER quality sound its IS compressed meaning that hey remove part of the upper and lower ranges of the song making it sound like crap, however 192Kb/s and above is ALMOST CD quality sound 56Kb/s is LESS than radio!
-Radio is around 128Kb/s (what i record in with a DAB PCI, Internal DAB Radio Card)

So i hate to say it but if you think that 56Kb/s is Good then download a song in 128 or 192Kb/s and THEN u'll tell straight away the difference! :)

i thought it was fuckin mint, despite what people recon about mixing in key n stuff, from wat im hearing none of the mixes sound bad at all, ie, no melody clashes or out. if its all mixed in key personally i think it becomes too repetative. at least eddie is diverse playing techno and trance, tech trance n all. i love all three genres and see no harm in mixing it up in a set.

just my opinion like dont c why so many people bash eddie everytime i c him he rips it up! was also mint last night at goodgreef!
