dunno - dont think people would have had time to grab a video camera/ camera, was watching sky news this morning, they said that it was just like a normal day...sun shining, people on the beach sun bathing, then all of a sudden this huge wave comes and washes everything away. Peope ran for high ground as fast as they could..

yes but most of the population in the south west and south coast is urban and centred in places like penzance, plymouth, bournemouth , poole etc not to mention the channel islands... looking at the geography of the canaries its unlikely that we would be hit very hard... we've got a greater threat further north from a submarine slide on the mid-atlantic ridge... and thats about the most i can remember from 4 years of uni :p

Opinions differ as to the size of the waves that'll hit Britain, anywhere between 5 and 15 metres, but if you want to see a nice little map of how bad it will be for Britain, Europe, Africa and the Americas then Look at this pdf

Doesn't matter if it doesn't kill anyone here, it sure will kill tens of thousands elsewhere. But if it's not on our doorstep, who gives a fuck? It'll be good to watch on the news.

i thought the "drama" comment was meaning that u were a bit of a drama queen, not that u were making more of it than u should have.
