The bottom line is if u drive on anything other than a straight head (that includes even being tired) ur putting urself and every one around u at risk... we all take risks tho its human nature.

I had a pretty bad smash a few months ago in a car driven by a drink driver, have never got in the car with anyone whos been drinking since even one pint.

I dont get in the car with people who are proper fucked on drugs but have no problems with getting a lift if theyve been using them.

    That wasn't funny!

Name just about every type of recreational drug there is and she'd had it - and then a bit of drink to polish it off.

nearly wrapped us around a lamp post at 90 not realising the road that had been going straight for oh-so-long suddenly veered off left to go onto a roundabout.

    white-knuckle to the max :(

Re: Re: Re: Driving On Drugs

I was the passenger in my mates car one night driving from london to germany, he'd been up all the previous night with his new born son & fell asleep doing 70 on an autobahn!! I woke up as the car was drifting towards the back of an HGV doing 70, i screamed at the driver who woke up and swerved out of the way just in time but the car still ended up rolling 6 times and landing on its roof.... not a nice experience but at least we're all still here today. that was due to pure tiredness

well i've nearly been in several accidents all involing drug drivers. we nearly went into a roundabout at 70mph after crasher a few years back. the driver didn't even see it. i have also been driven by someone down the m1 tripping their nuts off swerving to dodge imgainary cows.

i have also witnessed someone snort ket whilst driving! fuck i have been in a car where the driver couldn't remember the last half hour and enquired who was driving during it!

for the record i am now a lot wiser and wouldn't even go near a car if i was slightly suspicious of the driver.

fucking hell just get a taxi you tight bastards! or if it's out of town get a hotel. it's really not worth risking your lives. i have recently come very close to losing a friend in a car crash involving a drunk driver the morning after.

my friend was given 24 hours to live after the accident. he survived but 3 months on he's still in hospital with a broken spine and amnesia. he remembers faces, but not names, he knows who is girlfriend is but has no recollection of their 2 year relationship. his life is going to take a long time to put back together.

please for fucks sake, even if you don't value your own lives consider that you may injure an innocent party whilst driving under the influence and just don't bother!

:: rant off :: and massive  @ all the idiots.

casy - i thank you 4 speakin up on such a soar subject, as i witness that horrific accident when my friend was knocked over and killed in front of me by some one who was drunk, alcohol is still considered a drug or a substance no matter how legal it is.... like i said b4, i'm not against rec drugs at all as i'm frequently on them myself lol! but when i do take things, i want 2 have fun, not ruin someones life.... no matter how blaked you are (and lets face it if ya alright to think about drivin you'd kno not 2!) you always kno if ya in control of a car....they're not the most inconspicuous of things are they!!!! take drugs all u want2, just don't take someones life aswel!!!!!:D
