Saying that, I always enjoy Promise more than I do big events.

in sum respects this moght do the club a favour, cos if a lot of 1st timers like the music they might think were can i go locally and go 2 promise!

On the other hand u might get more of the ever growing charva population coming which is bad full stop!!

Every week i seem 2 get the impression there is more of them!! Grrrr..

Anycase it will b a long weekend & i will get 2 go out with the beer boys again!!

I will be deffo going to both Promise and GK that w/e but i know that i will enjoy promise a lot more.
It has a better atmosphere. People always go on about beer boys and charva's etc, who gives a fuck if GK is full of em, your there to enjoy yourself, just ignore them and spend time with ya mates! :)

When the big clubs say they are concentrating on big events rather than weekly/monthlys you know they're starting to forget why they started doing it. You can't have a club culture without clubbing. When I was at the festivals this year I really enjoyed them, but felt that the promoters stopped caring once they had your cash.

They don't have to worry about you coming back next week, but they know you'll be dazzled by the list of big-name DJs again in a few months and cough up for another dissapointing night out, which you don't get many of at Promise :)

these big events do affect promise and other similar clubs. how can you not understand this?

plus they are shit. first one was good. GKGG was amazin but its not the same. anyway promise vs goodgreef sounds great to me and if allthe chavers are goin to go there why dont we all go to promise and enjoy a quality night without the people most of us bitch about anyway. makes sense to me. :D :D
