I am sure he took it, the payers were meant to the club night formally known as Gatecrasher now known as Crasher.

At an Oxford uni debating society meeting which he was the guest speaker he refused to deny or confirm the fee when ?ed.

It's simple economics - they will charge what people are willing to pay. Yes, the fees are extortionate, but if clubbers really were that upset about it, they wouldn't pay high door fees, and the DJs wouldn't be able to charge that much.

And so what if a DJ doesn't play every weekend? Many are involved in studio work, and as Rob has said, if you had been doing it every weekend for ten years, you would probably want a bit of time to yourself too. It doesn't mean you don't love it anymore. You'll probably find them still playing, just at a mates house or something.

Just what I was thinking, I'm betting Sasha still plays alot but probably at private parties.

Has anyone considered that once you have more money than you'll ever need that maybe you don't want to go any deafer than you already are?

That's why I stopped working in clubs and I still needed the money.

if he was offered it - fair enough - get in there. take the money - he'd be daft not to. BUT if he stamped his feet and said "i want 100K for NYE2k" then he's a hypocrite.

    opps. forgot. IMHO.
    thats my get-out-of-jail/argument clause.
