I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of that (esp. Dmitri), but it seems the majority prefer it deepdishesque, and you've gotta book what the majority want.

Agreed, most people would prefer to see Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish etc.. If everyone liked the same thing the world would be tres boring...

Saw Dimitri last b.hol he was brilliant!

Tried to get to Paris to see him last year at Bass Couture, never made it though. Consoled myself with his Playboy Mansion boxset.

I only call it that cos it was those two sold together in a box. Sorry to get your hopes up. He has done a bunch of other non-playboy albums though. Don't know what any of them are like.

Spen played shindig a few months ago. Wasn't the best set I've seen - too funky for the main room and his mixing was appalling.
I think some prog DJ's can be boring but not Deep Dish, every tune was doing something

Spen was good last time he played shindig, gave the prog kids an education in what real music is...

Thats the third time I've seen Deep Dish at Foundation and by far the worst in my opinion. They were still good but I expected them to be far, far better and Clocks did my head in.

Still had a quality free night out anyway so I shouldn't really complain. :D

Saw Spen at shindig last time really enjoyed it, his set was totally different IMO. This will soung stupid, i dont know how to word it, but he kinda played some cheesey stuff that wasnt cheesy because of the way he was playing it, if you knonw what i mean, like a couple of cheesy-ish songs but not obvious cheesy songs; i knnow wat i mean anyway:D

Francois K hardly ever plays in the country i don't think, he had his first appearance at basics for ten years a couple ofmonths ago wish i had been:(

But ur wrong about prog... its great:D :D :D

SANDER K mix of MADONNA - HOLYWOOD... Immense tune, the place went fucking mad!!

I haven't bounced and danced so much in a long time. The energy from the music and the crowd was electric.

    Nice to meet you eyeball.:)
