You's should all be locked up we got beat, it's shit as I thought the standard from both Sunderland & Newcastle was terrible, neither team were good imo (obviously we were that little bit worse) but when you have a team that relies on a Striker like Shola Ameobi to pull you out the shit then were always going to look doubtful, Nicky Butt needs to go he had an absolute nightmare on saturday & we brought Barton on far too late. Sunderland started off alright and then after there first goal they lost it a bit. They picked up again later in the 2nd half but then lost it again towards the end. I was really starting to worry near the end cos i thought you's were gonna get a late equaliser.
Aye we did put some pressure on near the end but I knew deep down we didn't have that extra bit & we'd been beat. 1st half we just seemed non-existant? It could easily have been about 3-0 before the 2nd half to Sunderland, I hate to say it but we got off lightly with 2-1.
