I used to have a C64, even did a bit of simple coding on it in good old basic :)

    Classic memories.

Jet Set Willy - HATED IT!!!!! (infinite death loop anyone)
Dizzy - SO ANNOYING (Hated that too)

    Great Games had to be:-
Wonderboy in monsterland - Superb conversion :)
    IK+
    Yie Ar Kung Fu
    Outrun
    Chase HQ
    Gryzor (USA/UK Version of Contra)

Gotta love the old "Ocean" loading screens as well with that theme tune - the C64 sounded great :)

such a good game. remember there was a 'turbo' mode i think it was called... you faught in super quick moves... 3 players on the screen at once - no way u could control what u were doing but it was the funniest thing i'd ever seen - i used to cry laughing at it!

oh, and 'Smurfs' on the Atari 2600. you had to jump a crow on the first level. aahhhhh.

When you lot all had c64's and spectrums, I got roped with an acorn electron. Me and my mate hed endless petty arguments about our computers. My acorn electron had a full size P.C 'space' bar, wheras his smaller inferior machine sported only a pecker of a 'space' bar. (I didn't realise the 'size' obsession started at such an early age)
    Anyhoo:
Walker - Amiga (sounds sweet thru a NAD amp and Bose speakers)
Turrican 2 - Amiga (IMO, the best soundtrack. (Got a some of it on my phone:rolleyes: )
Pretty much anything by the Bitmap Bros and Psygnosis.
