I'd hardly say they were bettering anything more than their wallets in the USA - the scene over there is full of utter morons and the music is about 10 years behind.. and they still call them "raves" - lol
I dont know much about the pricing scheme...... but how does that stack up against people like Jules and 00 Fleming ..... ???? cheap/expensive?
Tis a real shame that you can´t get the superstar trance djs to play Promise Mark, they would all be very special nights. But if that is the way it´s going to be, we will just have to accept it. You are only doing what you know is best for the club at the end of the day. Please keep trying to book them though, you are doing a brilliant job
yeah deffo..... it must be frustrating see'ing the likes of the USA pushing up fee's, while Ibiza and Arena gigs does the entire scene no favours whatsoever... Either way - your still doing a great job
That is what he meant by bettering thereselves. It´s not a better scene over there or anything, only financally
I´m still recovering off Judgement Sunday last night, trying to get myself pulled round for Manumission tonight
Its a shame that people are so fickle to be pulled in by a big name?? Surely Dave or Revel could play the same records for 2 hours!!
How come it all seems to be about numbers and money now. All senese of credibility and sticking to your roots seems to be going out the window. They're going on like a trance night would make a loss and there would be noone there. There are enough people in Newcastle to make a monthly trance night work. Scot Project might bring in a few extra pounds short term but it won't do anything for the long term of the club. If it was just about money why not just promote a commercial night
yeah is a shame but deffo a fact. they are sum pure trance dj's that would pull in a crowd. pvd, armin, tiesto. promise was busy when ferry played! it's a shame its so hard and expensive to book big name dj's these days but that's the way it is.
armin is playng three times in the UK in the before sept, tiesto is playing three times in the UK before sept, pvd's playing three times in the uk before sept. thats three gigs each in the UK in less than 2 months. edit: admittedly two of each dj's three gigs are festivals...
