    Happened to me last year! Had about 1,000 photos too! Gutted wasnt the word! They're still on imagestation but I gave up saving them back onto my computer because you had to do it one by one. Just backed up my most recent ones onto DVD tho so at least they should be safe. Luckily the music is much easier to get back, its just a bit time consuming.

    Took harddrive over to mates house last night to try and recover the files but it won't even boot up just making nasty clicking noise:cry:

    What a nightmare Fran!! :cry2: Im getting lazy with mine cos i got another big hard drive not too long ago, so they sit on my comp for ages. This has just reminded me to put my recent ones on disk :up:
