Well i have just got in from what has been easily the worst night of my life.

I now have a criminal record and a very high chance of loosing my job down to a little charver scroat.


Story goes.......


in town having a really good night out, went to the toilet and some kid stared at me as i walked from one side of the bar to the other, i looked back and thought, 'do i know you?!' i didnt so proceeded to the toilet. next thing i know the guy is in the toilet starting a fight with me, im no fighter so i just told him i didnt have a problem but he kept pushin me n kickin off so i gave him a taste of his own medicine and simply pushed him back tellin him to fuck off, he lost his balance, fell over and hit his head off a hand dryer, at this point a doorman walks in. I was relieved so we could sort this out, only thing was this little shit of a charver had other ideas, he claimed i started on him and punched him throwing him onto the hand dryer. so the doorman asked me to come with him and i did. Next thing i am being told i am under arrest and that the police are on route to take me to a station.

I couldnt and still cant beleive what has happened. i now have a criminal record because i was the victim of some mindless little shit who was looking for a fight.

Because i was stupid and so honest i now have a great risk of loosing my job and also have fucked any chances of gettin a decent carreer because i have a record that says i assaulted a man in the toilets.

this kid probably starts fights nightly for fun and also probably has a criminal record too big to remember. he is out 2nite laughin about what has happened where as i now have a lot of shit to sort out.

So pissed off i had to lett it all out and glad i have done now.

Was there any witnesses to it? If its just his word against yours, i suppose it would be quite difficult to prove anything. And if like u say, hes just some total scrubber with a record as long as his arm, then his word is not gonna have much credence is it?

not sure about me job at the moment, civil servant tho, the cops said its a risky one, im porbs just thinkin of the worst.

happened in destination of all places, only been in the twice b4, ppl will have seen what happened but the guy had a bang to the head and just made it out that i attacked him, i was pulled out the toilets by the doorman so noone really had any chance to say what went on, i thought they were gonna let me go and just scare me with the police thing but b4 i knew it there were 2 coppers there takin me out the bar, Very embarrasing for one thing.

will hopefully have calmed down a bit by 2mora and will probably see its not as bad as i think it is now. At the end of the day tho i have a record when i have really done shit all. thats what gets me.

Im no legal expert, but im just thinking, on what grounds are they charging you? Becuase some charva says u hit him?

And im assuming u dont have record unless you actually convicted of something. Which u havent been yet.

I dont know though, Confuzzleds the man, if he comes on and reads this.


Unlucky in Destination tho, not usually many charvas in there.

i have been unlucky. but whats happened has happened and i will sort it, i can only hope that somethin good comes out of it all.

Agree with what your saying Orbit ... it probably wont even go to court. (fingers crossed) . If it does and he has got a criminal record as long as his arm then itll be Chris's word against his and i know who theyd believe...cant see it going to court though.

dont know you mate but I hate the sound of this,

you have every right to appeal against any criminal conviction you are given,
I honestly can't see you getting convicted if what you say is true, If i were you i'd be straight up with work and tell your boss about what happened, the saying goes "you can't con an honest man", if it goes to court and it's your word against his there aint a judge in land that'll believe some charver over an ordinary decent guy

you were being threatened by somebody and after several attempts to resolve the situation passively, you, in an act of self defence pushed them away, the fact that he was blind drunk slipped and fell over is not you're problem (if he is of legal drinking age it's his responsibility as to how he conducts himself and if was under 18 the bar will be in shit for him being in there drunk in the first place), if he was legless drunk you're case will look far better than his anyways

try not to stress it but equally dont just lie down and let the little c*nt get away with it, get on to the citizens advice bureau find out where you stand, find out exactly what you're being charged with, make a signed petition, write to local newspapers, your MP, anybody, but don't let it slide

its gotta get to court yet, if there was no real injury to him - it'll get kicked out - like people have said - he may have previous convictions and it'll all get chucked out of court. play the old "i'm a decent citizen blah blah " card and you'll be fine....

I can't believe they arrested you though, were you really drunk?

As has been said, you won't have an official record for Assault unless a Judge says so, other than that, (I think) it will be a caution which will be wiped off the slate after 6 months providing you don'r reoffend.

I would be extremely pissed off/worried if I was in your situation but like you, I always look on the dark side of things!

Did you just get a caution though, surely that's all they can give you? It goes off your record in 4 years mate. People at work will know you though, they know what sort of person you are. Don't worry about it, I'm sure everything will be ok, just don't go pushing anyone anymore ok!

Sounds rough mate ... talk with a brief if your worried about it, especially if there is camera evidence.

if it gets wiped then its not too bad (is this defo 4 years) but still wouldnt look good if i went for a job and have this on me record.

its not the end of the world anyway, wasnt thinkin straight last night cos i was so pissed off.
