I saw Halliwell mix the same song in twice , apart from that i havent seen many sets go tits up.

I remember at Gods at the Arena in 2002, Judge Jules was fannying about behind the decks saluting his glass of wine to people and putting his hand to his ear as in a "cheer for me" fashion

You could then see him scrambing about behind the decks, and totally trainwrecked the mix.

If he wanted people to cheer, all he had to do was that

how the hell didn't you notice when you we're beat matchin if it was ur own tune bet you we're pleased nobody realised!!

Halliwell (that name again) turned off the wrong CDJ about 3 times at crasher on boxing day last year

TBH I said the same thing to an ex of mine when he never realised it was his tracks being played when we were out ... but now that Ive done my own choons I now understand how you can not notice that its yours!

DJs do that on purpose sometimes

downing a massive gulp of 97% vodka before doing a set at MOS at 4am

looping 4 bars of a track for 7 minutes thinking it was meant to be like that and swearing blind to my mates that it wasnt on loop

Splitting my head open @ Riff Raff last Friday on a bit of wood sticking out of the ceiling was a canny bad (but funny) moment, but the worst was probably last year when some lass came running up to the DJ booth during my first record and did a cartwheel into the speaker stack, pulling the plug on the sound for 5mins! :spangled:

At the MEN Halliwell was mortal and pressed the wrong button on the CDJ and looped the whole of Adam Sheridan - Terminal Velocity, so he ended up playing it again straight after it had just finished.

I have heard some mixes off DJ's which resemble someone hoying piano's down flight of stairs

some idiot ejected the cd he was playing at Vuzz

I remem playing Vuzz at EC n the 2nd tune on the CD id just mixed comes booling in while im busy talking to me mate...

I dont think it was noticed that much n by the time i was playing Vuzz at Mono i more or less knew the CDJ's like the back of me hand AND used single ones more

At a party a few years ago held in the grounds of a stately home a young shit head came up and started scratching with the record I was mixing (from the opposite side of the booth) and knocked the tone arm flying across the vinyl, causing everybody who was dancing to look up at me thinking it was my mistake. Cunt!
