I feel food poverty is going to cripple us soon, meat is getting very very expensive, we cant grow the beast to eat... a few bad summers and we are fucked if cereal crops take a hit.

I am planting some Nut trees at the retreat for my protein needs post TEOTWAWKI.

Plenty of people to eat, sure with all the immigrants around, I'm sure with a bit of seasoning we could make some into a curry.

I was talking along these lines to my lass the other day. If society collapses and food and water is not supplied anymore... who do you think will be left around in say ... a decade?

The population of the UK is forecast to hit 70million by 2027, according to the latest predictions, with more than half that increase down to immigration.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that the UK is set to reach the population milestone by mid-2027.
The population was counted at 67.2million last year, but will swell to 73.2million over 25 years, the figures showed.

Nearly half the rise will be due to immigration. Of the 4.9million projected increase over the next 10 years, some 2.1million (44 per cent) is the assumed net number of migrants.
The remainder, some 2.8million or 56 per cent, is from the projected natural increase as the number of births outpace deaths.
The impact of migration is also expected to increase.

Totally in agreement. Parents should also have to pass a test to see if they are suitable, it sounds drastic but you have to be tested to drive a car in case you kill someone, where as you can ruin at least one childs life by being a loser of a parent.
