who is this DJ please? Can anyone help me find a DJ I've been looking for for ages ? It's a bit of a longshot as I don't have many details but here gans : He played at The Tyne in Byker (under the bridge) the second last time they had one of those magic little parties (the second last bank holiday monday 2001). He played funky breakbeat type stuff (I think bit hazy) but can't remember any particular track but recognised lots at the time. Like I said i know it's a long shot but can anybody help????
i sort of know a couple of the guys that help put on that party. i think the lad you're talking about used to do the back room at Reverb when it was at scotland yard. He also used to do the warm up back room at Rockies on a Friday. i think he's called EL Dee He does breakbeat/Dn'B stuff. Thats a rough guess like cause i know he's involved with those Bank Holiday parties down Byker Bridge (he lives close!) He knows one of my mates thats owns a record label in Sunderland called 'Freakshow Records' I could be blatantly wrong.
