Has anyone got/had their tongue piereced. I am gonna get mine done, just wanna know what sort of pain and discomfort i will experience

ill just have to get wrecked for a week afetwards, good excuse though!

Have wanted to get it done, but never would .. far too scarey

Might get my lip pierced again tho so that ive got a ring in my lip aswell as me labret bar

I keep sayin im gonna get mine done, but I keep putting it off

I got mine done in Ibiza about 5 years back. It's not that bad...it swells up for a few days so your on a fluid diet.

Keep your mouth clean and don't smoke for a few days.

Don't chew it or you will mash your teeth.

I don't put mine in much these days.

it does seem really scarey, thibk ill find someone else who wants theres done too and go with them!!!! get them to go 1st, least if they faint or someit i know not to bother :angel2:

Does not hurt at all but you cant speak or eat for a few days

You may lose some of the muscle in your tongue if you get it pierced, so if you can do fancy tongue-tricks now, weigh up the pros and cons.

You will have a list for a week or so and sometime people get a perm lisp

yeah got mine dont about 3 n a half years ago,
doesnt hurt getting it done (i thought the clamp that holds ya tounge is worse)

afterwards is different for everyone
i know sumbody that couldnt eat anything for about 2 n a half weeks but i was ok after about 5 days but when its sore it is hard to eat!!

your tounge swells and is double the thickness but as far as i know i was allowed to drink after it as i went out drinking that night!!

make sure you buy plenty ov antiseptic mouth wash and keep the bar clean and ull be fine!!
