    Tiesto at the Academy last nite

    Woooooooooo!!! :D Had a pretty amazing nite!! :D Tiesto played well on form, some amazing tracks! Some of the ones off the album that I thought were bland, actually went off so well in the club! :eek: :D Live act was amazing, great voice! Good crack with everyone, there was easily 20 odd Promise lot down there. :up: Everyone had a mintos nite! :D The other dj's were good also. Riley and Durrant are gods :king: lol. Tod TB played some stormers, altho mixing wasnt fantastic. Cant remember Mark Norman :spangled: lol Ooops :p

    The club was actually really great, just a big room. Plenty of space and a really canny crowd. Minging toilets tho :down: :mad:

    Managed to get lost for like 2 dam hrs on way there, in Manc :mad: And Claire nearly killed herself & passengers this morn by going thru a red light! :eek: :dunce: :spangled:

    Feeling fairly fresh atm, considering had no sleep and just drove for 3hrs. :p Left a number of them lot in messes in Wigan!!! lol :up:

    Overall WICKED nite! Woop Woop!! :D :D Fotos (altho not many) will follow :)

    Pretty much all of em. Me Mick & Stephen came back. :)

    Claire looked at the wrong traffic light and very VERY nearly went into the side of someone. I was following her. Nearly shit myself!! :eek: :( We didnt actually realise she didnt know the way until we'd drove round the centre bout 3 times either! DOH! :dunce: :lol: Got there eventually :rolleyes:

    Once again, a quality night!! We did get lost in manc for about an hour before hand, but the night itself made up for it.

    With us not getting in till late we just managed to catch the end of riley and durrants set, not the best i've seen them but they did play mostly breaks. Ton tb up next, trance all the way baby! He really got the crowd goin with carrera 2, then played steadily throughout.

    Then arrived the man himself TIESTO. The only phrase i could use to describe him is " UN-REAL", from start to finish he was amazing :D :D. He finished with his remix of adagio for strings which really put the icing on the cake!

    Last but not least was Mark Norman (which i thought was 2 blokes) who i think followed on very well from the worlds Number 1. By this time i was a bit worse for ware, don't remember much apart from when i was waiting for the mini bus and herd ZOMBIE NATION being played :confused:

    Areet to the BORO boys Aaron, Jobbo etc. And a huge thankyou to Shawn who let all us sorry lot back too his:up:. and Cookee and *missy* for driving us there safely!

    Wicked Wicked, Walvin is MASSIVE :lol:

    now to b fair they really shouldnt hav loads of different traffic lights for all different ways. its just way to confusing.... and im sure it was on green u know.... i saw a green light.

    anyway after the stress of gettin totally lost in manc centre and tryin to find car parking was a totally class nite. loved it :D

    didnt c hardly any of riley and durrant coz was tryin to get served at bar with stupidly large queue and hardly any bar staff. :rolleyes: (get them for promise, to make up!! :p )

    tiesto was amazing. :love:

    and mark norman and ton tb, first time id seen both of them and thought they were ace. :king:

    got back in one piece at bout 6 after a detour to gaz and andreas for a bbq. hmmm was lovely. :cool:
