Actually Spence we aim to pay all of our DJ's if we make money on the door (and most of the time we do, as I'm sure a few people off here can confirm). The only times we don't is when we have had really shit nights.

And...all our DJ's get their share of free drinks. This was even the case at the cottage where we ran a free night.

Aye but I still think it would be out of order to go demanding money, especially if you are a bedroom DJ playing for a small local night and haven't got any pre-arranged contract. TBF most people aren't arsed about getting paid anyways unless you're a professional DJ...the local guys have got jobs etc...they're just glad of the chance to play somewhere!

We try to look after people tho just to show we appreciate them playing for us just as much as the bigger names!
