:evil: not my day at all today will there be a reason its ate it?? or can it just eat them for nothing?? stupid fucking banks!!!!

i've had 1 or 2 eaten for no reason. could never get a straight answer - especially if it wasn't my bank's card machine.

Phone them straight away, play merry hell - you'll have to go in person with ID to your bank and withdraw over the counter

edit : and once cause i had massively overdrawn at 'cheque cashing' places as a student

i am overdrawn like, but apparently theres been money going in there which i didnt know about, so it shouldnt be overdrawn now, i was just trying to find out how much was in and if i was still overdrawn...cant even go to the bank with any ID coz i lost my provisional the other day, and my passport is out of date and at my parents house...i was using my bank card as my ID for cashing cheques and stuff....how stressful is this, it could have just told me how much was in i walked all the way to the shop for nothing!!

you're have to use you N.I. card or something .... SU card with it....

dont even have either of those, lost my NI card, and havnt got an SU card...i cant even ring the bank coz i lost my phone banking pass code too....and cant remember it, how crap am i??

offering u a card? probably not cause it won't have been credit checked properly...


running out of options here.... library card? Work ID? letter from work? Get your out of date passport sent over - thats your best bet - who cares if it's out of date

they are letters about my loan so they should work...ill get my passport too, does it matter that it has the wrong address on it?? im not doing very well at all am i???

Did you take a while chosing what service you want? On some bank machines thier is a time limit and if you dont press a option in time it swallows your card. The one at St James park right next to the NUFC shop and shearers does this, hence the reason it now has 3 heel shaped smashes in the screen! (**** swallowed my bank card after I'd been to the town, frezzing cold and had no money for me and me pal to get home) so we kicked it and smashed it, that was about 1 1/2 ago and they still havent fixed the screen!

nah, just typed in my pin no, pressed view balance, and it said 'the last transaction has been cancelled and your card will be retained'

what a guttener for you, nowt worse than losing ya bank card on the weekend!

totally.... i loose everything, and i forget everything i havnt already lost! my mam just went mental at mewhen i rang her to tell her, as if i had asked the cash machine if it was hungry and offered it my card as a light snack!!
