    The Lake District

    Just come back, been to penrith camping it up :camp: anyone else been to the lakes and which bit in particular as i fancy going back up to try some more plces out.

    ive been to windermere, penrith and keswick so far.

    anyone reccomend anywhere else in merry old England/Wales to go camping as ive become quite the outdoors man.

    loch ness you got to have your witts about u though pretty scary!!

    nothing round for miles you can go to a campsite but if u wanna do it properly just camp by the loch

    The lakes is mint :D ain't been for ages! Got friends and family there too! There is a place about 7/8 miles outside keswick, i think its called Dodd Wood its about £2/3 but there an assault course and a quality adventure play park :D rope bridges over rivers and zip lines etc.. proper big kid kinda stuff :up:

    we were going to go there tonight but havent got enough time to get down as i finish at 5. :(

    going to wooler instead - should be a laugh! anyone got any invaluable camping tips?

    i went to lake windermere, i loved it their, nothing like some fresh air to clear out these polluted city lungs :D

    Cumbria is my neck of the woods!

    Cool places to go...

    Crummock water.....class for camping
    Buttermere..............again class for camping
    Skiddaw/latrigg........awsome for down hill MTBing
    Cockermouth............where i'm from! mint and quiet

    watch out for the sheep!
