Soundcloud introduces Content identification system...

    I can't see this benefitting soundcloud in the long run. The whole system they've put in place is wide-open to abuse. What about tracks that sample other tracks, where the original rightsholder objects to it being posted online, but the remixer doesn't? What about it mistaking some tracks for others?


    Looks like stormclouds ahead for the soundclouders... The comments section on that page doesn't make for good reading either, with people having mixes pulled for no obvious reason...
