Sold Out Get in!! Cant wait Sunderland have sold their full ticket allocation for their crunch game at Wigan next month. Black Cats fans have snapped up 7,400 tickets for the match at the JJB Stadium on Tuesday, April 5 (7.45pm). Sunderland fans will have the entire East Stand at the JJB Stadium for the top-of-the-table heavyweight clash. The match is all-ticket for both sets of supporters and there will be no cash admission on the day of the game. The club is urging fans not to travel without a ticket. It means Sunderland have sold in excess of 10,000 tickets for their next two games - both away from home. Their allocation of 3,000 for the trip to QPR on Saturday sold out last week and now every Wigan ticket has been snapped up within three days of them going on general sale.
yeh thats true like, a lot of premiership teams couldnt even fll 48,000!!! love the ssol too, mint stadium, excellent when its full and electric atmosphere!!!!!! hopefully that'll be sorted next season
we'll have 40,000+ average next season if we go up....crowds bound to come back to see the big names...always happens, wont complain tho cos want the stadium full again!
The SOL is a good stadium, though it pains me to say that. Was pleasantly surprised by it when I went there for the first time (1-0 Solano pen ) a few seasons back.
No i agree its a top stadium and good atmosphere but i have witnessed far louder more electric atmospheres than even the T&W Derby so i think he is talking balls
Personally best i have ever witnessed is Anfield, followed by Elland road and i think St james at peak is far better than SOL
Elland road....no chance! Anfield...yeh cud be onto something there... Sid James....umm,not so sure! sometimes its electric tho al give u that!!
Not elland road these days but a few years back it was so loud, leeds fans are nutters I think these days all grouds are hit and miss like ther is 2X more people in st James then when i first started going but it was always much louder back then.. too many women go these days
