sleeping problems

    sleeping problems

    does any1 know of any good ways to help you sleep? for the past week or so, iv not been gettin to sleep untill the early hours of the morning. even though i go to bed pretty early.
    like last night, went to bed 11:30, n i neva got to sleep till round 3:30/ 4am this morning. then i had to be up at 6 for work:cry2: :cry2:
    i dont really want to take "nytol" or anything like that , coz it makes me feel really funny the next day.

    any1 hav any ideas???

    i tried that yesturday, i went to the library:oops: and got some books out on peacefull arts n yoga n stuff. but it didnt work:(

    I dont get proper sleep either.

    I get 4 - 6 hours kip a night

    wake up at 6 get in from work at 4:30 go to bed at 12 - 2am repeat until fucked

    I find it hard to keep a sleeping pattern.

    Exercise before bed should help you get to kip, Like proper exercise not just a few squats and a few situps

    Try to get some exercise during the day, and put three drops of lavender oil on your pillow.

    Yeah Ive not been sleepin that well recently. Its usually when I have stuff on my mind.

    Have a good drink. That should help.

    Read something or have a little :chill: ! If I cant sleep, reading quite a bit always helps! Since your now worried about ur sleep when you go to bed your probably now thinking about getting to sleep and worrying u wont be able to (Im terrible for this) which makes it unable to happen! Just try and relax!x

    Is you are suffering stress you wont be able to sleep, you will have to see a doctor.

    Also if your doing a lot of X this screws with your sleep....... I once went about 4 months without real sleep in 2000!! I was a fuckin vegtable. Worse time ever. that when I gave up!!

    Yes, i find reading is always a good way to get to sleep if your having problems.

    Although a really addictive book can mean you sit up reading till 4am and then when ur finished, your mind is still active and you dont sleep till later.:spangled:

    I love sleep though. Think I may have been a cat in a past life.

    definitely try reading a bit before going to sleep, it usually takes your mind off what you've worried/stressed about. definitely get some lavander oil too to put on your pillow, it works a treat or if you can get a diluted form specially for sleep troubles rub it onto your pulse points eg wrist, just behind ear on the neck, temples etc. i had some sleep tight stuff or something and it'd knock me out as i'm quite nocturnal really

    A hot drink and 2 paracetamol....i dont really know why it works...guess the hot drink makes the para' work faster....but it always works for me n my mates when we cant sleep after a niteshift..... hope that helps xxx
