Shindig lastweek Did any of you guys go to Shindig lastweek for X-Press 2? i wos quite dissapointed, I dont think im the only 1 cos loadsa people left early! Hope Yousef is better 2morra!
I didnt go last week but i did go to Steve Lawler the week before. I hadnt been to Shindig for nearly a year before that. I cant say i enjoyed it much as well. Firstly Lawler was shite, the last half hour was abysmal. Secondly there was loads and loads of beerboys (no offence Clarki) totally spoiling my night. Actually they were more like beerblokes as they mostly seemed to by much older than your normal beerboys. They were all standing around on the dancefloor holding their beer bottles totally getting in everyones way pushing and jumping on each other and generally bashing repeatedly into everyone who was trying to dance. Also in the queue for the jackets at the start of the night several of them just thought they had some divine right to push you out of the way so they could get their precious charva jacket in first. Whats the fuckin hurry? Theyve just got in to the club. Anyway ive decided im sticking solely to Promise from now on. Everyone just has a fucking good time!
promise is well better than shindig! i must say however, the residents party was brill, the music wasnt all that good but i had an all around good night! but im sticking to promise, scott bond, what a bloke! i had a gr8 night on fri n hoping next week will be as good! i think the people at promise are nicer too, maybe thats coz i talk to every1 n they have no choice to be nice to me, they just do it so i go away! there was a charver or two last week at max graham, one imparticular who kept following me around, yak! charvers dont like glitter, so i dont like charvers! however, charvers or not, i love promise!

well steve, i can try for 13 decks...6 mixers, 5 samplers, 4 cd decks and a partridge in a pear tree, but hey, thats a fantasy...and i think it will stay that way.... ... im good but not that good!!! lol
