    Schmeichel signs for Darlo

    Young Manchester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel has signed for Darlington on loan.

    The 19-year-old, son of Danish legend Peter, has agreed a week-to-week loan deal, meaning he will stay at The TFM Arena until both clubs decide otherwise.

    Schmeichel extended his Man City contract by two years in December, but is willing to play regular first-team football at a lower level.

    Not bad for Darlo, since all their keepers are injured, ending up with Stampy filling in between the sticks (literally) for the second half of the match last Saturday
