What about when our grandparents generation is gone. Do all soldiers deserve the support or just ones from 'moral' wars?

This week a war veteran in a supermarket in Aylesbury was attacked while selling poppy's.Two blokes attacked him & 1 of blokes hit the veteran with a claw hammer in the face a few times, all for approx £20!!!

The police have caught both men, no doubt they will get about 320 hours community service for this crime:(

Why should it? It's not like the soldiers in the gulf are fighting for any great cause (just oil). They get paid and they all understand that they might get hurt or die if they join the army, it's part of the job.

As far as I'm concerned it's disgusting that we should even need to help soldiers from the 2 world wars. the bloody government should give them all the care they need because they risked their lives to defend our way of life.

These brave people should not be dependant on charities to raise their quality of life.
