    propa scared :(

my brothers goin down london 2day to pick up the keys for his new flat, i had nightmares all last night and woke up feeling so sick this morning i couldnt get back to sleep hence the fact that im on this message board so damn early lol!!
dont even dare leave the house incase anything happens and i dont find out about it till i come back but then again i just cant keep myself glued to the internet and telly till he comes back 2morro and everyday that he's down there from august onwards :(
the thing is though this is what those fuckers are wanting us to do - live our lives in fear and thats certainly what i'm doing...i just dont see anyway around it though god i'm so scared i just cant stop thinking about it all :( :( :(
anyone else know of anyone that lives or works down in london? ggrrr i'm sick of thinking about it but im that worried i just cant do anything else :( :( :(

My Uncle works in the House Of Lords on the main strip behind where all the TV Interviews go on and my other Uncle works for the Crown Prosection Service not far fron Victoria Station

Every time i hear the slightest thing of what's going on in London am straight on the blower cos where they work could be classed as v.high risk - in the same way with me working for the Government here our alert state's changed of late to "possible threat of attack.

2 weeks ago i was proper shitting but when i phoned around id found out that they were both away that day to a funeral for a frinend of the family.

Dont worry you have more chance of winning the lottery than getting killed by a terrorist

I was actually on a tube yesterday at the same time as the attempted bombings were going on. So glad I don't live down there, though I have a lot of friends that do. :(

yeah but if you are in london and travelling on the tube you are more at risk that anyone else!! and your odds are significantly lowered!! its not as if just one person would get killed there could be up to 100's or even thousands so therefore the odds are considerably higher!!!
geordie - tis shit all this worry isnt it :( i just can't see when its gonna end...when i worry - god almightly i worry for england and i worry that much that i cant eat or anything and i can just see this going on for years and years its just fucking horrendous

I think we need to carry on with our lives and not be sent into a state of fear by these people or else they have won, I know its hard hun but we must show them they cannot stop of daily lives...

I was going from Farringdon to Kings Cross, so pretty central, not too far from the Warren St one. Didn't know anything about it until I got on the train back up here and heard people talking about some stations being evacuated. Only really found out what had happened when I watched the news when I got home.

I'm in London every couple of weeks for meetings.

but thats what they want though isnt it..but i just can't stop stressing out as much as i am....
dont think i'd be as bad if our richard wasnt down there but he is and i'm just so scared, he gets the tubes all the time...
but then again i suppose so do those other thousands upon thousands of people in london...
god its all just fucking shit :(

it is total shit i agree :( Don't get me wrong i worry about stacey and especailly now she's just had her bairn! With you its 'Family' tho so its bound to be more stressfull and stuff. Try not to worry to much mate london is a big place and hopefully after these arrests the security services should be able to gain info on these terror cells and stop any future attacks :)

i wouldn't be afraid of using public transport. the likely hood of getting injured isn't even worth worrying over.

Just get on with life and stop worrying what might happen :king: :angel3:

you've got far more chance of being run over up here than you ever have being bombed by a terrorist, theres no point trying to live in a plastic bubble of hysteria...

just get on with things, worrying never got anyone, anywhere...

yeah, i did read it properly, my best mate does exactly the same and was on the central line in the next tube train along going to work into liverpool street from leytonstone two weeks ago.

theres no point in stressing about him being down there as i don't stress about her being down there, yeah i was worried when i found out, but treading on eggshells is pointless...

sitting up here stressing your head over the kid won't help, you've just gotta get on with it. :)
