It just goes to show the gulf from scottish football to european that a tem like shaktar can spend £14million on a player for serie a thing that celtic cant do.

but on the night celtic were second best in every department and lacked a killer instinct up front the board should realise that this is a alarming state of affairs for a club the size of celtic.

cska proved against us that its not all about ur standard of league competition its all about the guy thats putting the money in and for a team that spend £50million and are splashing out £120million on a stadium goes toi show the old firm are fdar from competeing at this level for a few years yet.

thats my view as a fan of scottish teams in europe

lets hope rangers do go wonky in wronki.

Yer totally right mate, couldn't agree more ... the board need to back O'Neill big time or he'll be off at the end of the season.

The team that's playing now peaked when we got to Seville. We need new investment in the side.

As a rangers fan i really can't see o'neill staying for another summer with the board and there "no cash" attitude and the thing is if he leaves celtic fans wont be bitter imo.

Every manager needs money, new faces = more competition= regular first teamers worrying about the place in the starting 11.

Celtics problem i think is and u can put rangers into this catergory aswell is that if a player gets injured when fit again he doesnt really work for his place back and at clubs like chelsea, arsenal, man u, etc if this happens they then need to prove a point to the boss.
