Look at 1 one his posts "Been DJing for over 26 years! Sheesh is it that long!!! Don't ask how old I am for ***** sake! Started in 1976 with a nightclub residency in my hometown. Had residencies in just about everywhere in my hometown and still doing it. Was the only resident DJ back in the 70's now there's about 20 or so in the various pubs and clubs. Been in my current residency every Friday & Saturday 7.30pm til Midnight for over a year. Self employed professional at it these days, don't want to do anything else. Started out with vinyl and was at the birth of 12" singles! Still got every bit of vinyl I ever bought, used to be on Record Co. mailing lists back in the 70's and got a few gems. Played mainly Soul & Jazz Funk (hence the screen name). Play House/Trance/Dance/R'nB and obviously tons of Old Skool gems these days. Been using computers for 4 years now, started with a tower and Virtual TurnTables (VTT). Switched to a laptop in January 2002 with Visiosonic's PCDJ with the DMC Controller. I use the laptop exclusively (i.e. no vinyl, no CD's). I have recently bought Visiosonic's new program PCDJ FX but it's not sufficiently 'bomb proof' yet, although I did gig for 4 1/2 hours with last Friday night. Coming out to Ibiza town 2nd June for a week. Thinking of bringing the laptop to try for some gigs and may stop the season.
