Man Utd - sinking to new lows?

This is fucking shocking - using the fans to advertise for Nike? How much will the club have charged for this i wonder.........

If that ever happened at Sunderland i dare say i would seriously consider spending my hard earned cash and time watching the club for them to sell out the fans and use them to coin more cash in through advertising.

Its like the sort of shite you see in american football or baseball. Oh wait, who owns the club again? Its exactly the sort of reason why a lot of Man Utd's diehards broke off and formed FC Utd a few years back, the now non-league side who brought 2000 fans when they played Gateshead last year, all of them ex Man Utd fans who lost faith in the direction the club was heading.

Fair enough when you get things like this to support the club - eg the red and white stripes on derby day a few years back. An advert though? Shocking IMO!! Whats next, the club selling advertising space per stand?
