Yeah it was a good nite. Really busy as well. Yousef played his usual chunky beats all nite long. Did some good things with rap style vocals near the end. Think he's an excellent dj but sometimes feel like not enough happens in his sets.

Yeah they definetly don't just count the money - you can tell they both love house music. Neither of them hardly ever play the bigger tunes and always keep it really underground. Really good technically as well - Lottie was doing some good spins and Yous was working the EQ's well

So just cos they work for radio1 then they can't be underground. They don't play any cheese at all

james you dont half talk some pants sometimes :dunce:

succesful doesn't necessarily mean not underground

definition of underground is not that only 3 people in the country have ever heard of it, or are likely to

yousef is more than capable of playing an underground feely set when he's not working for radio 1

    shinpoo

have you ever actually been to shindig? :p

    ..

Lottie and Yousef are both underground DJ's.

Saw Yousef at Stereo beforehand, technically he is wicked, but he just doesnt seem to be able to hold a set together, seems to lose the crowd a lot - too many bongos......

Yousef is one of a kind, his technical ability on the decks is amazin, he is always using three decks and boy can he work the mixer. But the fact is you can't be that underground when you get that much publicity. But his tunes can still be underground.
And for lottie on sat, She absolutely fucking rock it big time.
If you think shindig is shit you need to get out more!
Just because people don't were cybershit (promise) doesn't mean they don't no now't about music.
