Loonies in Gateshead the fecking tyne & swing bridge were closed during rush hour on wed cos of 2 idiots.. 1 had a samurai sword, the other a shot gun...1 on each bridge.. think it was sheer coninsidence as well that they had their bright idea's together :evil:
The guy who supposedly had the gun (he didnt btw) had tried to jump from the bridge at 9pm the night before police had coaxed him down and took him to hospital where he was realeased after being clarified as ' stable' he then went back to the bridge at 4am the next morning and caused havoc when one witness alleged he had a gun . Dont know anything about the Sword one but i was a fucking hour and a half late for work :evil:

So rather than road traffic cameras it looks like it's suicidle maniacs and oriental knights who are messing up our traffic system.
A tax on people with samurai swords might be quite lucrative up north judging by the number of news stories these days involving geordies or mackams with katana blades ...
