What ever you do don't register for the free information pack. The fucking twats send me about 5 letters a week along with the same information pack. I've looked into it & don't get me wrong it sounds really good, know a few people with it done & they highly recommend it.

They say £390+ per eye, that's the lowest priced option, no doubt for people like us it'll be the fucking £500+ an eye option

Still, to be able to see great again, worth it. There is also a buy now pay next year scheme.

Optical Express bombard me with spam sms & E-Mail after I made enquiries. I'm holding out till the price drops - I rekon in 5 year it could be around £200 per eye. My sight is around -5 each eye, and has deteriorated by around -2 each in the last 5 years

They usually quote that price per eye but sting you with a procedure that costs like 1000-1500 putting the cost right up. That initial price per eye is just to get you interested.

A few of my mates have had it done and one paid around 3k and the other 2.5k and both have perfect eyesight now.

A lass at work had it done, I will get details & post back in few days. I have noticed mine is sort of going when I walk down Northumberland Street to work I am testing them all the time, words seem bit blury from a distance. Going to have a few early nights to see if things improve rather than lates ones on the net & watching tv.

Have you ever considered laser eye surgery?

For most people who have ever imagined being free from their glasses or contact lenses, the answer to the question above is usually yes.

    Why choose laser eye surgery?

There are many reasons why people decide they’d prefer to live life without their glasses and contact lenses and for many the obvious solution is laser eye surgery. It’s not surprising when you consider the many benefits:
    • No more irritation, red eye or dry eye from contact lenses
    • No more inconvenience of losing or forgetting lenses and glasses
    • No more glasses and lenses getting in the way of sports, driving, holidays and general day-to-day life
    • No more spending money on glasses and contact lenses
    • Optical Express treats thousands of people every week - more than any other provider in the UK and Europe
    • Being able to jump out of bed and see clearly until the moment your head hits the pillow again – even if that does happen to be 3am!!
    Why Optical Express?

      • More than 99% of our patients achieve 20/20 vision or better*
      • More people choose Optical Express than any other provider
      • 99% of patients recommend us to family and friends**
      • We have nearly 200 centres around the country so there's bound to be one near you

    • Our consultations are free
    • We won't charge you a deposit
    • You can pay using interest-free credit***
    • We'll give you £300 off if you have treatment by 31st October 2011

The above is the spam they keep sending - the voucher is towards £400 per eye minimum (so could be more than that depending upon particulars).

That optical express place is in the same building that I work in, it's always busy like.
