Lee, all this season has left for me is to beat you lot at SJP & aim to finish above you & the Boro. If that happens we will be shite but will have a bit local pride.

FACT: NORTH EAST FOOTBALL IS SHITE

I dont fancy our chances at SJP to be honest but hopefully we can pull it off or atleast get a point, If we do we can be proud of our season providing we stay up

I fancy us to go ona bit of a run now personally, the last couple of games have shown what we can do with key players now fit. If only the likes of Rico, Edwards etc had been fit all season and with Reid now alongside them, it could have made a massive difference to where we are in the league table.

Our next few games are all winnable (including the mags ;) ) and hopefully our recent good form can continue, we didnt play massively well yesterday but still ground out a win which was good to see, compared to a couple of months back when we would dominate games and end up with nothing.

    Andy Reid = :king:

on the plus side, fulham drew with derby yesterday, so derby are now down, and it's starting to look like there's only one more relegation slot left, as long as both the mackems and magpies string a few wins together they're both safe.

Derby apparently are trying to ensure they don't take sunderlands' tag of shittest team ever in the premiership

to do this they need 5 points from the last 5 games... anyone think they can do it?

This season has just been one big joke. Can't wait for it to end. Couldn't really give a fuck we're we finish. Not going to make Europe or anything so it mean's nothing. At least we all get to stay up and let the real battle commence next year!:D

Derby games are always so muh easier for Sunderland imo. Newastle is, and probably always will be the biggest team in the North East due to its larger fanbase, better average premiership finishes, more frequent european qualification and higher revenue. Sunderland have nothing to lose in these games, as pretty much everyone in the country generally expects Newcastle to win, especially at St James Park.

    Cue mass brawl...

Depends what you mean by bigger. Sunderland will never have the worldwide fanbase that Newcastle have, simply because of figures like Michael Owen, Kevin Keegan and Alan Shearer.
