Personally i dont think Hargreaves is fit enough to clean any of there boots and Tord Grip of Sven cant of seen enough of him to give him a squad place when he does get one ! Alan Thompson's only come on strong since he went to Celtic but the Scottish League is hardlys a challenge is it - ya can only give him a chance i suppose like and there is a lack of quality on the left for England ! Deffo Vassel over Heskey - i think England miss someone like Sheringham cos he did the job when he was needed n someone like Owen can play off him in the way Shearer did ! Danny Mills is the best right back they have and he's not a bad player - i wouldnt mind seeing him at Newcastle - another one who doesnt mind a batttle and can get forward as well as defending ! Its same old story with English strikers - Shearer went thru a massive drought before Euro 96 and then went goal mad, the average for strikers bein a success must be shit as there's only really ever been a few ! My mam used to work in the bookies where he wasted alot of money when at Newcastle before they bailed him out - they had to keep a seperate section for his best as were talking bets and ive seen him come collect the winnings on the sly in the morning, he used to stand round the corner on his own so nee one seen him He was a sound bloke as lived not far from me and often used to talk to people around his house and get tops all signed n that - its a shame about his gambling / drinking but it happens with all the ££ they get !
I think Beatie should be given more of a chance! Beatie and Vassel would work well together Beatie can hold up the ball and he has the ability to use vassels pace to his adavntage.
Scholes has had a fantastic season for Man Utd. One of their better players this year. He was class in their run in. Scholes was probably one of the most conistant players all year, well, he must be to bag that many goals! Hargreeves is a pile of sh!te IMO. Total waste of space.
