Help Required - Your Dancin' Memories As if I didn't have enough to do, I've finally decided to bite the bullet and start on a project that's been buzzin away at the back of my head for a while now. I'm basically trying to put together a history of local clubbing through the eyes of all the people who are/where a part of it. If any of you have read the fantastic Last Night A DJ Saved My Life by Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton you'll have an idea behind the kind of structure I want it to take. This is where all of you come in, I basically need to interview as many people as possible to try and build up a broad picture of peoples feelings and experiences and want it to include as many communites/age groups etc. as possible too. So whether you've only just started going to Promise or you're a veteran of one of the mighty soul weekenders, I'd like you all to get in touch so I can get your recollections on tape. How we do it is up to each of you, it might be nice to get a few of you together at once as it can often stimulate conversations and get you bouncing memories off each other. All that is basically required is maybe an hour of your time and plenty to talk about. If anyone would like to take part, send me an e-mail (eatrecords@ukonline.co.uk) and we'll make a start from there.
all I need in the e-mail is your name and age, it's basically just an initial way of showing that you wanna take part
