Fucking brilliant, gotta be the best driving game ever.

Anyone else got this gem yet?

was playing yesterday (not mine, but still) and im impressed, they have squeezed every last drop of power out of the ps2... a true work of brilliance.

I'm kicking it in a Focus RS at the moment, good shit!

we were in some crazy buick pimpmobile, got it tuned to nearly 900 bhp + nos, had it to 219mph on the nurburgring

ave got it, its quality. ave not been playing on it much cos ive been out so ave still got a 99 impreza @ 420 bhp.

i won one of those toyota electric cars that have 2 gears and can go the same speed in reverse and they do in forward.

graphically superb game, the scenery is amazing.

the physics are spot on aswell

can you tell me more about it or point me in the direction of a review for someone who hasn't played a demo or even seen it?

do they do crash damage in this one?

its more of a simulation its got proper physics its not like an arcady type.

there is no crash damage on it

its the most realistic driving game ive played.

its got the best graphics on the ps2.

It'd be a real driving simulator if you cared about how hard you hit other cars, then you wouldn't go tearing round corners like a tit relying on your fellow competitors to get round, because it would cost you money to fix it.

aye true, you can just bounce into owt and get round the tracks, well if they have crash barriers.

i think the reason they dont include damage was somet to do with the manufacturers not wanting to have their cars being smashed up.

shame lamborghini and ferrari dont have their cars on. probs because they know they will get lashed off much cheaper cars.

yeah, gran turismo's always been like that though. u defo can't drive like a maniac tho, the game just doesnt suit it

i believe one of thes reasons for not having crash damage is the car manufacturers have to agree to let you smash there flagship vehicles to bits and lots of companies dont like this

Not played on GT for ages ..... the graphics on this one look sensational. Think I'll buy it at the weekend.

I thought the licences were easier than GT3 though

i dont believe it (victor meldrew style) i ported over 100000 cr from gt3 then i buy a caterham seven and do it up spending all me well nicked 100000 only to find that i cant use the sod in any races cos its "a special car" god damn aye its special its just had a few grand spent on it... gutted am i.

im sick of winning shit cars that you cant sell for money. i keep winning concept cars
