Getting letters with not enuff postage on them..... from Gateshead Council! Whats that all about! It was a job rejection letter from Gateshead fucking council. Not only did they not deliver it, they made me walk to the post office behind the train station in the rain and pay £1.21 just to get it, open it and find out that I didnt get the job! Thank you very fucking much! :spangled:
i saw a similar one the other day. as our postal routes have changed there's always a massive que to collect anything from the sorting office. i was waiting in line to collect some vinyl... as flippin always... and there was a young lad and his dad, the kid was about 5 or 6, the 'parcel or letter' had been taken back to the sorting office and this little lad was clutching his note that had been posted thru the door waiting to collect whatever parcel had been left for him, as it had his name on it. it must have been his first parcel and u could see the excitement on his face as he got nearer and nearer the front of the que. i watched him hand it over dead excitedly and waited while the johnny no-stars rumaged around for it - only to hand the boy a 'Capital One - you have been preselected for a credit card enclosed' letter... his dad looked at it with dismay and gave an evil look to the bloke behind the counter b4 ushering the gobsmacked and completely gutted little boy, almost in tears away from the hoards of people staring... that kid will be scarred for life... i was going to run after him and give him my £50 worth of tunes i'd just collected... poor kid.
i was nearly in tears myself when i got back to mi car... everyone in the office just stopped. u could here a pin drop. the little boy had been gabbering away "was it this... was it that..." i'm welling up now...
I'm guilty of askin hotels to send back beard trimmer power packs as I keep leavin them there, but I never send them the postage back It does ma head in if you get a such package, race to the depo to collect such package and it's just shut, bummer

We have some idiots in our office doing the post. 28p postal cost to the Middle East & Africa etc! Costs us more in excess postage when the Post Office bill us for it than it would to send the thing properly twice!
