Anyone know what time? We had an office sweepstake going. I had 11 (traditional pub opening time) so i'm hoping he died around then and it's taken a couple of hours for the news to be released.

it was about 1 i posted mine as it was breaking news....

Its never nice when someone dies but when you have had the chances and treatment that George Best has had there's going to be questions asked.

He has basically drank himself to his death and at the same time caused alot of grief and pain for those related to and close to him.

Put aside that and he was one hell of a footballer who's lifestyle tho spoilt that too...

must be harsh to see someone you love continue to dig their own grave the way best did.
