Favourite book: Too many to choose from, but Catch 22 springs to mind at the moment.

Favourite artist: Not well known, but I have just been given a Nora Doherty painting which is amazing.

no longer smoking or drinking! - for now...
My favourite books and artists change all the time. Plus I have a really crap memory so I find it hard to remember a book more than a few weeks after I have read it. (Not too bad though because I can read a murder mystery and a month later read it again and not know 'whodunnit')

    At the moment,

Book: Soul Music - Terry Pratchett.

    Artist: Rosina Wachtmeister.

Iain Banks for the Crow Road, one of the best books I've ever read... still loving Chuck Palahniuk's collection of short pieces on american society - Non Ficiton ...

i'm really into steven gorrow and the 'internet vigilante' artists at the minute, i.e. faceless art.. other than that i'm a fan of julian opie, but im into design/architecture side of things more... tschumi, paul andreu & santiago calatrava being top of the list...

rei kawakubo has some brilliant non-fashion design work too..
