    Floorstanding speakers

I've got a pair of Wharfedale Zaldek 1000 speakers in my room which are the only speakers I have at the moment

Great sound, really good bass for just listening to music and for parties etc. but I'm wanting some speakers with a much crisper bass, it's just not sharp enough with the Zaldeks, which I find a bit shit for mixing really

Anyone know of any decent floorstanding speakers which may be better? Or should I just get a couple of monitor speakers wall mounted next to my decks as well as the Zaldeks?

a full day fannying on with the EQ sorted it out like

how much did you buy them for mate, i had a couple of valdus speakers a few year ago - they were the shit.

on the topic of speakers my dad's just handed over a wadload of cash to some hungry italian for a set of these:

Get KRK, they are brilliant. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Sell them and get a speaker and amp package from somewhere like hard to find. Floor standing speakers are made for seperates like what youd find at Richer Sounds not mad effects and loud banging dance music.

Ive got an Alesis speaker and amp package and the sound is unreal - the bass rumbles and the treble is crisp, everyone that comes around mine comments on how good they sound. The price was reasonable, i highly recommend them. Have a look on this page. The JBL (they have a good reputation and the speakers ive heard have always been class!) packages look good too and are slightly cheaper.

that's because, if you read the first post, it's not a sales ad and i never said "aye ive got these speakers for sale"

i was asking about some NEW floorstanding speakers or additional monitors, which is why i said...

"Anyone know of any decent floorstanding speakers which may be better? Or should I just get a couple of monitor speakers wall mounted next to my decks as well as the Zaldeks?"

i only said i might sell them when someone asked if they were for sale

i should've known better not bein in the clique like
